We are proud to announce the beginning of a fresh, energised stage in our journey, with the appointment of a new leadership team dedicated to winning back the constituency and delivering for local residents.
Cllr Graham Plant has been elected as the new Chairman of our Association. Graham brings a wealth of experience, respected leadership, and a proven track record of service to Great Yarmouth. As a long-standing figure in local government and public life, his steady hand and forward-thinking vision mark a new era for Conservatives in the borough.
Joining him are:
- Daniel Candon - Deputy Chairman Political
- Paul Wells - Deputy Chairman Membership
- Emma Flaxman-Taylor - Treasurer
- Cllr Carl Smith - Secretary
- Graham Carpenter - Fundraising officer
This new team represents a combination of experience, energy, and focus, ready to reconnect with communities, rebuild trust, and work to ensure that Conservatives are elected at all levels of government national and local.
Chairman Graham Plant said:
"We are entering a vital time for Great Yarmouth, and I am proud to lead this team as we work hard to win back the confidence of local residents. Our focus is simple: deliver real results for our communities, campaign on the issues that matter, and listen to people on the doorsteps – something we have always done all-year-round."
With renewed commitment, our Association will be engaging directly with residents, supporting local councillors in their work, and championing policies that bring opportunity, security, and pride back to every part of the constituency.
This marks a new chapter - with the same core Conservative values of hard work, responsibility, and community at its heart.
